Tia has had her HSC art work selected for the prestigious Art Rules Exhibition which was shown at the Hazelhurst Gallery over the Christmas break.
Tia has worked in oil paints to create a series about how light can be bent and refracted to alter what we see of the world. She was inspired by the works of MC Escher, who was interested in how different lenses distort what we see.
The picture shows Tia (2nd from right) with her models.
Tia is one of many students from our feeder schools at both OLMC and DLS Caringbah who have produced outstanding works this year. I would like to thank my colleagues at OLMC and DLS Caringbah for the solid grounding in the arts they have provided to our 2017 graduates at Cronulla.
